Emmy Awards 2010 ‘Temple Grandin’ & Archie Panjabi Surprise Winners

One of the big winners of last night’s Emmy’s was HBO Biopic Temple Grandin’ which brought home five Emmy Awards. 

It won for Outstanding Made For Television Movie, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie – David Strathairn, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie – Claire Danes, Outstanding Directing for a Miniseries – Mick Jackson, and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie – Julia Ormond.


Another big winner last evening was Archie Panjabi, who won a prime time Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her performance in ‘The Good Wife’. 

Little-known British actress Archie Panjabi is waving the UK banner high after her big Emmy win Sunday night in Los Angeles..

The 38-year-old won an Emmy for outstanding supporting actress in a drama series for her role in the CBS series "The Good Wife."

 ‘The Good Wife’ is a TV series that airs on CBS and in its 2nd season. Panjabi, 38 was born in London and has made appearances in films like ‘A Mighty Heart’, ‘Bend it Like Beckham’, and ‘The Constant Gardner’.
